Jailed heiress, Paris Hilton, who has A LOT of time on her hands these days, has turned to pen and paper in her Lynwood jail cell to answer some fan mail. The socialite, who is in lock-up 23 hours a day serving her parole violation for a DUI conviction, spends her time reading a couple of books as well as letters from well-wishers. Authorities say she has received over 5,000 letters.

Rapper T.I. has a few words for those who criticize hip-hop lyrics, arguing that it's only reflecting what's happening in the neighborhood streets. He tells Blender magazine, "You can't put someone in the jungle all their lives and then when they get an opportunity to get out, you're critiquing them for acting like they from the jungle."

A Star Trek film with Spock but Not Captain Kirk? William Shatner doesn't get it either. In fact, reports are that the Boston Legal actor is pissed at the current Star Trek movie producers for not offering him a cameo role in the new film. The actor, who played Captain Kirk in the 60s TV show, is said to be "very upset and has been lobbying for a role" in Star Trek XI after learning Leonard Nimoy has been cast in a minor role.
