Paris Hilton was freaking out in jail so the sheriff's office let her go early, at least that's the excuse for the socialite's early release from her 23-day sentence. According to TMZ, law enforcement sources say that her medical condition was not physical, it was purely psychological and that she was in peril of having a nervous breakdown.

Mandy Moore has revealed writing songs for her new album helped pull her out of deep depression.

The singer-and-actress wrote about her struggles with depression on her 'Wild Hope' album and on its single 'Extraordinary'.

"I'm a pretty positive person, but about a year and a half ago, I felt like someone dimmed the lights," the 23-year-old said.

The mystery of Jennifer Aniston's new man has been solved. The 'Friends' actress was seen dining with a hunky male over the Memorial Day weekend, but no-one know who he was.

Jen's new love has been revealed as 36-year-old British model Paul Sculfor, who the star has been secretly dating for several weeks - according to reports.

The pair were first spotted having a "romantic dinner" together at Santa Monica's One Pico restaurant and Paul was seen rubbing Jen's back as they waited for a table.

Heavy Metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne says he used to cover his body in nicotine patches but it didn't help him quit his cigarette habit. The rocker, who has battled alcoholism and drug addictions throughout his life, admits he continued to smoke while wearing the patches, even though the combo made him ill.

The Prince of Darkness told Guitar World magazine: "They're all a **** to kick, but I'd have to say cigarettes were the toughest."

Tom Sizemore Faces Four Year Prison Term

Actor Tom Sizemore faces up to four years in prison at either Folsom or San Quentin following his surrender yesterday to a Los Angeles court for his latest arrest warrant - again for meth possession. When the "Black Hawn Down" actor, 45, was busted on May 8 for possible probation violation, he had two bags of the crystal methamphetamine and pipes on him.

Paris Hilton Released From Jail Early

According to the website TMZ, heirhead Paris Hilton was released from jail early this morning due to overcrowding at the Lynwood women's facility. The website which has been on the story with nearly hourly updates, also posted that the pampered hotel princess did indeed suffer the humiliation of a full cavity search when she entered the jail three days ago.
