R&B star R Kelly will release a song in memory of the Virginia Tech university massacre victims.
Kelly will donate proceeds from the song, called Rise Up, to the The Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund which was set up by the university following last month’s shooting.
Rise Up will be available as a download from May 15.
Its lyrics include: "Rise up, when you feel you can't go on, rise up, and all of your hope is gone, rise up, when you're weak and you can't be strong."
Kelly says he was touring when he heard about the tragedy in which a gunman killed 32 people before shooting himself on the campus in Blacksburg, Virginia.
