The splashy headlines today are that Minnie Driver faces heartache - "heartache!" again now that "her fiancé", TV magician Criss Angel, was seen snuggling with Cameron Diaz recently in Vegas.
Yet, Minnie and Angel haven't been seen together in months - so this all sounds more like a way for Cameron to get back at a very happy Justin Timberlake, who has found love with Jessica Biel, than the Charlie's Angel stealing the Mindfreak from Minnie.
So the reports say that after dining together, Cameron and Criss went to the Mirage hotel, where they watched the Cirque de Soleil show, Love. An onlooker told The Mail: "They were very obviously a couple enjoying a great date. He kept making jokes and she was giggling all the time. They were cuddling and snuggling and he kept whispering in her ear – they looked very happy together."
It was believed last year that the magician proposed to "The Riches" actress after a romantic holiday in Mexico in September. They had a hot fling for several weeks, but then Angel hooked up with Paris Hilton in October, and that was that.
But Minnie's heart truly was broken apparently by Matt Damon, her co-star in "Good Will Hunting", and the two appeared to be heading for the altar, but then Damon appeared on Oprah Winfrey's show and announced live on TV that he was dumping her.
Then in April 2001 she announced her engagement to Josh Brolin, but just six months later they split. Minnie blamed the split on interference from Brolin's stepmother, Barbra Streisand.
