How ironic that "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison played an inmate on TV, and now he is actually going to serve time in prison - for real. The troubled actor plead guilty to vehicular manslaughter and two other alcohol-related charges for an accident last December in which he crashed his car and killed one of his teenage passengers. Garrison is expected to get up to 7 years in jail.
Garrison was driving a 2001 Land Rover that jumped a curb at about 50 mph and hit a tree on December 2. A Beverly Hills High School student, Vahagn Setian, was killed, and two 15-year-old girls also in the car were injured.
"He's fairly accepting," his attorney Harland Braun said. "He realizes that he has to step up and take responsibility for what he did."
