Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman are on the road again on their next motorcycle adventure, which they are calling "Long Way Down." It's following up their successful 2004 round-the-world tour which was depicted in the film "Long Way Round".
"Long Way Round changed us all - it boned us together and made our dreams come true - and it's not often something like that happens," Ewan said. "So to be given another opportunity to do something like this is amazing."
This journey will take them from London to Cape Town, South Africa. The two riders will pass through 20 countries and will be raising money for UNICEF, the Children's Hospice Association Scotland, and the charity Riders For Health which supports motorcycle-riding health workers in Africa.
"Long Way Down" will become a TV series.
