Kirsten Dunst has hit out at criticism she’s not the right actress to star as Deborah Harry in an upcoming movie about the Blondie front-woman.
Dunst says Harry’s fans - who say he doesn’t have the looks or talent top portray her - shouldn’t have a problem with her casting because she was chosen for the role by Debbie herself.
"Debbie chose me for this role so anyone who disputes this can take it up with her," she says.
Adding: "I'll work hard on this character because she is the coolest woman of all time."
Kirsten next hits the big screen alongside Tobey Maguire in ‘Spider-Man 3’.
