Jennifer Lopez’s Spanish language album isn't doing too well, selling just 50,000 copies in its first week of release.
The figure, which is said to be way lower than her record label expected, has been blamed on the diva getting banned from Latino music chain Ritmo Latino.
The stores refused to stock Lopez’s CD, 'Como Ama Una Mujer (How A Woman Loves)', after she refused to make an in-store appearance.
"We've supported her from the beginning. Now we're told from the record company she will only visit Anglo retail outlets,” Ritmo president David Massry said.
"This is a Spanish CD, and if she wants to discriminate against the Latin community then we will not sell her product.
"Celebrities have the notion that when they reach a certain level of crossover appeal, they can quickly forget where they started. We will not tolerate this."
