Actor Hugh Grant has been arrested and questioned by police after a photographer was allegedly attacked outside the actor's west London home. Photographer Ian Whittaker told the Daily Star that Grant, 46, abused and kicked him on Tuesday before hurling a tub of baked beans on him.
Grant allegedly kicked Whittaker three times before kneeing him in the groin. He then picked up a family-sized tub of beans and chucked them at the photographer. Newspaper stories confirm this as they have printed photos of Grant with a plastic tub of food hoisted over his head in a threatening manner.
Yesterday the Daily Star reported that Mr Whittaker was left "bruised, battered and covered in baked beans".
Mr Whittaker says he was in the area trying to take pictures of Grant's former partner Liz Hurley who lives nearby.
