Rap mogul Diddy and English soccer star Rio Ferdinand have joined up to organise an anti-violence concert in London, England.
The show, which will take place at the O2, Greenwich, or Wembley Arena in 2008, aims to end knife and gun crime in Britain.
Various hip hop and rock stars will appear at the event.
"It's so important to me to get the message across that there is no point in carrying a knife," says Ferdinand.
Diddy, whose father was shot dead when he was three-years-old, adds: "I have been touched by gun crime personally. I have lost friends and I want to get the point across that the violence has to stop."
The announcement of the concert follows a number of gun and knife attacks involving young people London.
