Rap star Snoop Dogg has avoided going to jail on gun and drugs charges in a Californian court.
Snoop who pleaded no contest to the charges, was given five years probation and 800 hours of community service.
The 35-year-old, whose real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr, must not have any gang members in his entourage, Superior Court Judge Terry Smerling also ruled.
