Vivica A. Fox was charged with drink driving offenses on Friday. If convicted, the 'Kill Bill' actress faces up to six months in jail.
Fox was charged with misdemeanour counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit.
Fox was arrested on Tuesday night after passing a patrol car on the Hollywood Freeway at 80 mph. When pulled over, she failed a sobriety test.
Breathalyzer tests showed the 42-year-old’s blood-alcohol level to be greater than the .08 legal limit for drivers.
Fox was released from jail on Wednesday.
She will appear in court on May 17.
