Vivica A. Fox was released from jail on Wednesday after being arrested for investigation of driving under the influence, authorities say.
The 'Kill Bill' actress was pulled over on Tuesday night after she passed a patrol car on the Hollywood Freeway driving at 80 mph.
Fox, 42, was arrested after failing a sobriety test.
Her blood-alcohol level was also greater than the legal limit of .08 per cent
"We have no comment on that," a spokesperson for Fox said.
Fox has starred in the movies 'Independence Day' and 'Soul Food'. She was also a contestant on 'Dancing With The Stars'.
