Operating Level VII Thetan Tom Cruise has allegedly been calling soccer god David Beckham and his wife Victoria 20 times a day in an attempt to score the wealthy couple for Scientology.
Cruise is said to be pursuing his and Kate Holmes' friends to get them to quit the mortal "Wog World" and join the Xeno fearing cult -- and he won't take No for an answer.
Alas, the pursuit is apparently pissing off the missus of Becks. A source told Us Weekly magazine: "Victoria is tired of Tom being on her back about Scientology."
"Victoria is an old-fashioned British woman who believes in God. She finds it quite annoying that Tom is bugging her so much. Not too long ago, Tom left 18 messages in one hour to get them to join the church. But when Victoria says no, she means no."
Meanwhile, Cruise's reps deny the star is a proselytizer for the cult - despite the fact that a Scientology recruitment tent is often present on the sets of Cruise's movies.
