British singer Joss Stone split with her boyfriend Beau Dozier forever ago, admits she likes to smoke spliff and that she needs a man to love and can't get a date, and that she s miffed that Brits hate her dang American accent even if she was born in Devon.
Joss doesn't have much to complain about really. So why did she decide to wear this craptacular mess on her head?
The 19-year-old singer says it was her bosses at her record label Relentless that inspired her to do it. She says she got pissed off at them after they begged her to go back to being a blond after she went brunette in 2006.
"I had my hair brunette for a year and I liked it, but the record company was like, 'No, Joss, you've got to go back to blond, you are making your life difficult.'
She says she doesn't like to be told want to do and she's threatening to go all Britney Spears bat shit crazy and take the shears to her locks if they continue to provote her: "I couldn't believe the stress over the color of my hair. And so I said, 'OK, I'll dye it.' And I did - pink. I said, 'You know what, you are being shallow, and if you keep going on about it, my hair will go from pink to green to blue to yellow and then I will shave it off, because I don't care about my hair.'
"I don't like being told what to do."
