Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have joined Daniel Radcliffe in signing up to star in the final two ‘Harry Potter’ movies, producers have revealed.
Radcliffe, 17, was confirmed to star in the movie earlier this month, but it was rumoured Watson, 16, and Rupert Grint, 18, might not return to the wizard series.
Warner Brothers boss Jeff Robinov says it would be "inconceivable" for anyone else to take on the roles.
"Through the years we have watched them grow into extraordinary young adults, as well as remarkable actors,” Robinov says.
"It would be inconceivable to imagine anyone else in the roles with which they have become so identified, so we are thrilled and proud that Daniel, Rupert and Emma have chosen to complete the arc of their characters in the final two films."
J.K. Rowling previously announced the final book in the wizard series, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’, will be published in July.
The next movie, ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’ hits theatres this summer. The next movie ‘...The Half-Blood Prince’ is scheduled for release in November 2008, with no release date yet for ‘...The Deathly Hallows.
