Don't call Halle Berry a victim. The X-Men babe has dismissed reports she was a "battered woman", saying the first time a lover hit her was also the last.
Halle says she head for the door as soon as a partner become violent.
"I'm so not a battered woman,” she tells Reader's Digest. "Have I been in physical altercations with men? Absolutely. But the minute that happens they see the back of me.”
But her mom wasn't as lucky.
“My mother was a battered woman. She was battered by my father."
