It's been churning in the rumor mill for months now that ER heart-throb Goran Visnjic is leaving the hit hospital drama ER. Though not confirmed yet, the 34-year-old Croatian actor, who plays Dr. Luca Kovac, is believed to be leaving the show at the end of the current season, his eighth on the show.
TV gossip Ruby Ausiello is the source of the latest reports, writing that "multiple sources confirm that Goran has decided not to renew his contract."
But Ausiello is also revealing that ER producers want Visnjic to do a Noah Wylie type deal and return for five or six episodes next season, so writers can wrap up the Luca and Abby (Maura Tierney) love story.
