Rap diva Foxy Brown appeared in court on Wednesday to plead not guilty to two misdemeanour charges stemming from an incident at a Florida beauty store.
A warrant was issued for Foxy’s arrest last week after she failed to appear for a hearing. But the warrant was withdrawn on Wednesday after the star’s lawyer explained the notification of the court date was posted to her old address.
Foxy, real name is Inga Marchand, was charged in February with battery and resisting arrest without violence. The star’s trial is scheduled to take place in June.
"I am going to stand up and fight and take care of this," she said outside the court house.
