British schoolgirl and Harry Potter' superstar Emma Watson was left shaken after an adult fan confronted her after he turned up at her school.
A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "The man was an over-zealous admirer, and when he found out there were open lectures at Emma's school, he attended them."
"Emma was very alarmed when he approached her and started talking to her about the Harry Potter films."
Police were immediately called and Emma was given a bodyguard. “The school was informed and so were Emma’s parents. The decision was made to call in the police as the man was not known to her. A minder was also hired to be with her."
“The police spoke to the man and he was warned off in no uncertain terms. There have been further incidents since they spoke to him,” the report said.
Emma is said to be tired of being a celebrity. It was rumored the straight A student (she's a Hermione Granger type in real life!) wanted to skip the final two Potter films and concentrate on her studies at college. The movie studio, Warner Brothers, confirmed today that Emma has not signed on for any more Harry Potter movies.
Is she holding out, or is she seriously done?
Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, tells British newspaper the News of the World, "Emma doesn't want to do it anymore. She's tired of being known as 'that girl from Harry Potter.' Daniel (Radcliffe) and I are distant from her now. We don't text or talk to her when we are not filming."
It will be too weird seeing some other girl as Hermione - it doesn't make sense for Emma to turn down $3.9 million to do two movies. Jeez, kid, you can go to college anytime - collect the paycheck while the gettin' is good!

I hope she feels safer soon cause I have been stalked myself from guys and girls just because I looked like some Hollywood celebrity or I looked like a hot asain from what guys annoy me about. Also people don't call me by my real name anymore after I bacame a model for the fashion merchandising class for Evit, everyone started to point fingers at me calling me "Oh its that model girl!" constantly, its like my name doesn't even exist anymore. So I truly understand how she feels and i'm actually a hard worker myself, I love education. Well I just hope people won't annoy her anymore cause it can be very stressful. One of my grandmothers old friends when they were younger, her friend was a popular celebrity herself but she eventually could'nt handle the stress anymore to the point where she went suicide, this is why celebrity fans should not annoy them so much cause they would not have any time for themselves in peace like whats almost happening to me now!!!

I really hope she doesn't quit. Harry Potter won't be the same without her. She's only 17 and worth millions - she shouldn't worry so much about her future. The Potter movies will be over in two years and she can move on and do anything she wants.

OMG! I don't blame her for considering to quite! I mean if people were stalking me I would Quit. Wouldn't you? I mean my goddness we all know being a celeb is hard. she's just trying to lead as normall life as she can and then she has to put up that. That's scary! makes you think twice about wanting to be famous.

Emma is Emma. she can do what she want's. If she want's to continue on with the movies, she can go right ahead. If She doesn't want the pressure anymore, if she want's to concentrate on her future, wich is more important than any movie by far, she can go right ahead. I think we're all a little selfish if we look at her as an actress who has to do what we want and not a person that God want's them to be. Emma, it's your choice. Personnally, I don't know what I'd do, but you have to make the dicision, not me.
