Comedian/actor Adam Sandler will present tonight’s 'The Late Show With David Letterman' as its host Letterman has stomach flu.
It’s expected Sandler, who formerly starred on 'Saturday Night Live' before becoming a Hollywood star, will step into Letterman’s shoes for just one show.
Sandler interviewed his ‘Reign Over Me’ co-star Don Cheadle for the show, plus musician Lucinda Williams and racing star Danica Patrick.
"Unfortunately, Dave is not here tonight," Adam said on the show. "Just a little thing, we hope he'll get better real soon. He's suffering from the stomach flu.
"It's a common side effect from Botox injections," he joked.
