Lindsay Lohan’s dad has been released from a New York jail after over two years behind bars.

Michael was locked up after being charged with driving under the influence (DUI) following a Long Island car crash.

He says he now wants to "make amends for his past mistakes".

"Michael Lohan is a changed man. I've spoken to him often and I know it,” the producer of Michael’s reality show ‘Hollywood Dad’, Brett Hudson, says.

Johnny Depp Movie On Hold While Daughter's Ill

Johnny Depp’s new movie has been put on hold after the actor said he won’t work again until his young daughter recovers from her illness.

Depp was due to start filming the movie version of ‘Sweeney Todd’ at Pinewood Studios, England but has told movie bosses he won’t start shooting while seven-year-old Lily Rose is still ill - ‘the Sun’ newspaper reports.

"He does not want to come back until Lily-Rose gets the all-clear. The plan is to re-employ everybody when she is better," a source says.

Heather Mills: 'I'm Not a Fur Hypocrite'

Heather Mills McCartney has spoken out in defence of newspaper pictures showing her wearing a fur coat.

Mills says the pictures were taken in 1989, before she became a vegetarian and anti-fur activist.

She says: "I am not ashamed I wore it… I was extremely young and was not aware of the issues surrounding the fur trade.”

She also says the mink coat belonged to her mother who had died a few days earlier. “I wore it because it made me feel close to her," she explains.

Joss Stone Urges Fans To Go Vegetarian

Soul diva Joss Stone is the star of a new People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) advertisement urging people to go veggie.

The British songstress who was voted the World’s Sexiest Vegetarian in a 2005 PETA poll, poses alongside a chicken in the advert.

"I'm a singer, a songwriter, a performer, and a human being accepting of all sizes, shapes, colours and species. I am Joss Stone and I am a vegetarian," the advert reads.

Snoop Dogg Says He Wasn't Arrested

Hip Hop star Snoop Dogg has denied he was arrested in Sweden for suspected drug use.

The Long Beach rapper was in Stockholm for his European tour with Diddy, where Snoop and a female companion were picked up by police while driving to an afterparty.

But Snoop’s publicist has denied claims the hip hop star was arrested.

Idol Quitter Mario Vazquez Accused in Gay Sex Lawsuit

If you ever wondered why former "American Idol" contestant Mario Vazquez suddenly dropped out of the show in Season 4, it may be time for the truth to come out.

Vazques is now being sued for alleged sexual harassment by a former employee of the show for an incident that happened backstage in February 2005. Shortly after that, Vazquez dropped out of Idol saying it was for personal reasons.

The frenzy surrounding Leoardo DiCaprio and girlfriend Bar Rafaeli reached Brad-and-Ange size proportions yesterday when the couple arrived in her native Israel and were immediately swarmed by a hoard of paparazzi. Things got so out of hand that two bodyguards with the couple got into a scuffle with the photographers in Jerusalem and were arrested.
