Katie Holmes says she fell in love with Tom Cruise when the two first met to discuss a film. She recently told Harper's Bazaar about the pair's first date: "In Los Angeles, my first motorcycle ride...to the beach. It was amazing and fast. I was in love from the moment that I shook his hand for the first time."
The 28-year-old, who is also a stepmom to Connor and Isabella Cruise, claims she loves her new life: "I have a husband and children that I adore. I have a career that I really love. When I sit back and reflect, it's - wow! I am very grateful. Tom makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and has since the day I met him. I love being with him. I love calling him my husband."
Katie recently passed on starring in a sequel to "Batman Begins" and instead has opted for a leading role in the heist caper "Mad Money", according to Variety on Monday. In the movie she will co-star with Queen Latifah to play a pair of employees of the Federal Reserve who hatch a plan to steal piles of soon-to-be-destroyed currency.
