Kim Kardashian has launched a lawsuit in an attempt to block the release of a sex tape she made with R&B singer Ray J three years ago.
The socialite, who is one of Paris Hilton’s closest friends and the daughter of late O.J. Simpson defense lawyer Robert Kardashian, has filed a right-to-privacy lawsuit against Vivid Entertainment to attempt to block the DVD release of the tape.
Kim accuses the company of "egregious commercial exploitation and violation of Plaintiff's most personal and intimate sexual relations with her former boyfriend of three years" in the suit. Adding the tape was never meant to be made public.
Vivid Entertainment bought the tape (which allegedly features at least one of its stars peeing on the other one) for a massive $1 million from an unnamed party.
Kardashian - who has previously dated The Game and Nick Cannon - is seeking unspecified damages and legal fees from the company, in addition to a permanent injunction to prohibit Vivid from "disclosing or using [her] name and likeness in any manner for any purpose."
Ray J is reportedly now dating Whitney Houston.
