"I'm not naturally skinny. I fasted for two whole weeks, then got by on vegetables. I was starving,” the R&B diva says.

Bad boy Bobby Brown has been arrested under warrant in Massachusetts for failing to attend a child support hearing last October.
The singer was approached by police on Sunday night outside Attleboro High School, where he was in town to watch his daughter at a cheerleading competition.
Brown was due to appear at the Norfolk Probate and Family Court on Monday afternoon, Adam Loomis of All State Constables in Weymouth said.

Dreamgirl Jennifer Hudson has revealed she was shocked when her co-star Eddie Murphy failed to win the Best Support Actor award at last weekend’s Oscars.
“I was very, very shocked. Very shocked,” she says, but insists “he’s still a winner”.
Adding his loss made Dreamgirls' cast and crew more “nervous” about winning the other awards they were up for.

Rap star Ludacris has thanked his fans for their support following his dad’s death over the weekend.
Wayne Brian Bridges died aged 52 in an Atlanta hospital following a long battle with an unspecified illness, Ludacris’ publicist says.
Ludacris, real name Chris Bridges, dedicated his Best Rap Album award (Release Therapy) to his ailing dad, saying: "This goes out to my father, who's in critical condition right now…I love you to death."

It's been a long time coming for director Martin Scorsese who for years has put out a string of great and classic films but has never been properly recognized by Hollywood until now. Last night his Boston crime thriller "The Departed" scored gold as it took home top honors as the Best Picture of the Year. Even sweeter, Scorsese's tale of corruption also bagged him the coveted Best Director statue at the Oscars.
