There's a rumor that troubled rocker Courtney Love will be replacing celebrity trainwreck, Paula Abdul, on American Idol. Complete with "quotes", the story in this week's issue of US online magazine gushes that Love allegedly said that the Idol producer called her: "He was wondering if I was interested. I thought it was kind of weird but brilliant."
Oh yeah? Well, there's also a rumor that says the whole story was cooked up in Courtney Love's publicist's office...
The online magazine poses the question: "Is FOX lining up a replacement for slap-happy Paula Abdul, or just looking to spice up the show with the always-entertaining rocker/actress? Love, who is currently in L.A. recording a solo album, declined to reveal any more specific details.But a source tells Usmagazine.com that Lythgoe was considering having Love 'replace Paula.'"
Come to think of it, wouldn't it be ironic if Courtney Love was the one telling someone that they didn't have singing talent?
