Vanessa Minnillo wasn’t proposed to by boyfriend Nick Lachey at New Year, the presenter has insisted.
Rumours were kick-started after Nick was seen whispering something to Vanessa which made her cry as she presented MTV’s New Year’s Eve party in Times Square, New York. The pair then shared a kiss as the clock struck midnight.
But Vanessa insisted it wasn’t a proposal which made her well up. “Everyone that is important in my life is here. I literally choked up,” she said.
The pair have been dating since last summer.
