Super-producer Timbaland has been accused of illegally copying the beats from a hit Finnish song for a track on Nelly Furtado’s 'Loose' album.
Listeners have noticed the intro and melody on Furtado’s 'Do It' are nearly identical to those from Finnish artist Janne Suni's song 'Acid Jazzed Evening'.
Suni, known as Tempest, has insisted neither Timbaland, real name Timothy Mosely, or Furtado asked permission to use the beats.
Timbaland has produced tracks for Aaliyah, Missy Elliott and Justin Timbaland.
