‘The Sopranos’ actress Jamie Lynn Sigler says Jessica Simpson helped her get over her split from husband AJ Discala.
Jamie’s marriage broke-down in September 2005, with Jessica splitting from Nick Lachey two months later.
Sigler has thanked Simpson for her support throughout the breakdown of her marriage, but adds although they were in the same situation it was still difficult to understand what the other was going through.
"We did go through the same thing at the same time, but everyone is different,” Jamie says.
"Even if I talk about my relationship with a friend, or hear about a friend's situation, unless you're in that specific relationship, you never know what the dynamic is.
"But Jessica and I have certainly talked about things but, mainly, for me, it's nice to know you're not alone."
