Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie got engaged just before Christmas to actor boyfriend Josh Duhamel, says her friends. But she hides her ring in her purse when she's out in public and doesn't want to make any announcement until they have set a wedding date.
Life & Style magazine claims Fergie showed off her 4-carat diamond ring at a pre-Christmas party at film producer Michael Bay's home on December 15 but has kept it hidden ever since.
Duhamel's representative have denied the engagement news, but a friend of the couple tells Life & Style, "They don't want to announce the engagement until they set a wedding date, but Fergie can't wait to marry Josh."
Sources suggest the couple are considering a European wedding next summer in 2008. An insider says, "She wants a big, formal wedding."

its not a secret eny more like relly its reall stopid she did that and like the world would be like so happy for her and her man so lke i think she could of keept it a secret bout she diddent do so well dowing that job.
