Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman and seven other people suffered minor injuries on the set of "The Invasion" early Thursday morning about 1 a.m. after the car they were riding in crashed into a light pole, police said.
All eight of the injured, including Kidman, were taken to a local hospital for examination and were treated and released.
The LAPD will likely conduct a routine traffic accident investigation into the crash, which occurred while a stunt driver was at the wheel of the car.
TV celebrity news show "Extra" reported that in addition to Kidman, the injured included three other actors, a camera crew and several stuntmen.
