Madonna’s new film ‘Arthur & The Invisibles’ has been disqualified from the Oscar nominations list after officials decided it isn’t animated enough.
The movie cannot be nominated in the Best Animated Film category because it has too much live action in it, Oscar officials say.
The movie also features the voices of Freddie Highmore, Mia Farrow and Jimmy Fallon.
Madonna joins Beyonce Knowles on the Oscar scrap heap. Knowles was disqualified from possibly winning the Best Song award as only three songwriters can be credited for their contribution on a track. As Beyonce contributed the least, she didn’t make the list.
