Leonardo DiCaprio, who is scoring all kind of raves and nominations with his performances in "The Departed" and "Blood Diamond", is going the Hollywood route of adopting an African orphan.
But unlike Madonna and Angelina Jolie, the busy actor won't be bringing a baby home - he'll just be sending a monthly check and sponsoring a needy child.
According to the New York Post, Leo took a liking to a little girl from an orphanage that he met while in South Africa filming "Blood Diamond". Leo played with her, talked with her, and became fascinated by her.
He's now "adopted" her, and his long-distance parenting will continue by phone.

leo is a good actor n what he did i appreciate it. i want to adopt one day because i think everyone deserve a home with a lovin family. good bless him n i wish him the best in his life.
