The likeness of Kiefer Sutherland is going to be made into a children's toy action figure. The actor's terrorist-hunting character in '24', Jack Bauer - who has been shot, stabbed, electrocuted, imprisoned, and tortured - is about to join the likes of plastic superhereos such as Spider-Man and Superman.
McFarlane Toys CEO Todd McFarlane, who bought the licensing rights, said: "Without question, '24' is one of TV's biggest cliff-hanger programs." The show returns for season six this Sunday night.
"Kiefer Sutherland does an amazing job as Jack Bauer, he is the biggest reason people tune in each season. I know a lot of our fans will be excited to hear about us making figures of one of TV's top action stars."
Two figures are currently in production and the company is hopeful they will be available later this year.
