Keira Knightly has taken legal action against a newspaper which claimed she lied about having an eating disorder.
The ‘Daily Mail’ printed a photograph of the actress on a beach, with comments about her skinny frame, in an article about a girl who died from anorexia.
The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ and ‘Bend It Like Beckham’ actress took issue with the article, saying it implies she has been dishonest in denying having an eating disorder.
Knightly will also challenge the newspaper’s suggestion that she is responsible for the teenage girl’s death by setting a bad example, a statement issued through her lawyers said.
