Lindsay Lohan (‘Just My Luck‘), Hilary Duff (‘Material Girls’) and Jessica Simpson (‘Employee of the Month’) are among the nominees in the worst actress category at this year’s Golden Raspberry Awards, which honour the suckiest films of the year.
Also nominated for the award is Sharon Stone, whose ‘Basic Instinct 2’ movie has notched up a massive seven nominations.
Among the sequel’s other nominations are worst picture and worst supporting actor for David Thewlis.
The spoof awards’ creator, John Wilson, called the movie "a lascivious murder mystery that turned out to be a laugh riot”.
The Wayans brothers’ ‘Little Man’ also scooped seven Razzies nominations. Wilson described it as "a comedy nearly as devoid of laughs as Schindler's List".
While Tim Allen is nominated for worst actor in three movies - ‘The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause’, ‘The Shaggy Dog’ and ‘Zoom’.
