Johnny Depp will star as poisoned ex-spy Alexander Litvinenko, it’s been rumoured.
The actor’s production company Infinitum Nihil will make the movie for Warner Bros, which has launched rumours that Johnny will star in the lead role.
His company bought the movie rights to a book about Litvinenko’s murder by 'New York Times' journalist Alan Cowell.
Litvinenko died in London last year after being poisoned by a radioactive chemical.
British police are still investigating the death of Litvinenko last year after traces of lethal polonium-210 radiation were found in his body when he was admitted to London's University College hospital three weeks before he died.
