Scottish actor Ewan McGregor and friend Charley Boorman are set for another incredible mortorcyle journey, this time from the top of Scotland to the tip of Cape Town, South Africa. The pair did an around the world tour on bikes in 2004 which they turned into a book and documentary called "Long Way Round. " On this north to south tour, Ewan says he will be accompanied by his wife for part of the tour which begins this year.
His wife Eve has been learning how to ride a motorbike so she can join her husband for three weeks.
McGregor says, "Being away from my wife and kids is hard but it's part of the work of being an actor anyway. My wife is very supportive. She'll be coming out for part of the next trip."
"I have been married for 11 years and she has rarely even been on the back of a bike but she's training to ride and will do the middle three weeks with us."
