Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams have been spotted wearing matching rings on their wedding fingers, sparking rumours they have wed in secret.
The celebrity couple - who have a 14-month-old daughter called Matilda - applied for a marriage license at the beginning of November. The license would have allowed them to marry in the Brooklyn area within 60 days.
When the pair applied for the license, a friend said: “Heath and Michelle don’t like the spotlight. If they get married it will be a quiet wedding at a local church and then a party at the River Café afterwards for friends and family.”
Heath and Michelle hooked up after meeting on the set of their movie, ‘Brokeback Mountain’, in which they starred as husband and wife.
