Being rejected by ‘Spider-Man’ actor James Franco drove Lindsay Lohan into rehab, it has been reported.
The actress is said to have become obsessed with Franco after meeting him at the premiere of ‘A Prairie Home Companion’ last June and tried to give him a pricey watch, but he wouldn’t take the gift.
Lohan was in tears on Monday night after being rejected by Franco for a second time at Prince’s Golden Globes after-party at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Monday night.
"She seemed lost. She was trying to get James' attention, and he wouldn't give her anything. She was smoking a lot, not drinking in front of him, and then she went into a bedroom,” a source says.
"From there, she went back to trying to get James' attention again, and he was ignoring her. She ran out crying."
Lohan was allegedly found passed out in a hotel hallway shortly after the incident. On Wednesday, she checked herself into the Wonderland rehabilitation center in the Hollywood Hills.
