Alicia Keys is offering $5,000 scholarships to students from four cities to help them go to college.
The Grammy-winning singer will choose four winners from Jacksonville, New Orleans, Atlanta and New York City's Harlem neighbourhood as part of The Open Doors Scholars Program.
"We're just looking for standout students who are definitely college-bound and need a little bit of help financially to really achieve their dreams," Alicia says.
The program is part of Frum Tha Ground Up, a non-profit organisation started by Alicia’s manager D.J. Walton, who attended college in Jacksonville.
