Paris Hilton Gets Probation In Drink-Driving Case

Paris Hilton has been sentenced to three years probation after pleading no contest to drink-driving charges, following her arrest for driving erratically in Hollywood last year.
Hilton, who was also fined $390 and ordered to attend an alcohol-education program, did not appear in the Los Angeles Superior Court. Her no contest plea - the equivalent of pleading guilty - was instead entered through her lawyers.
Paris “is happy that the matter is over”, her spokesperson - Elliott Mintz - said after the hearing.
