Wesley Snipes has been arrested in Orlando, after surrendering himself to police on tax fraud charges. He is facing up to 16 years in prison.
The 44-year-old actor flew into Orlando and gave himself into police, his rep has revealed.
A warrant was issued for the ‘Blade’ star was issued in October following reports he cheated the Government out of millions of dollars in taxes in 1996 and 97.
Snipes, who has been filming his new movie in Namibia, say he is being used as a scapegoat and has been unfairly targeted.
The actor plans to return to Namibia to continue filming ‘Gallow Walker’ after his court appearance.
