Paris Hilton has pulled out of presenting a trophy at the Billboard Music Awards.
The socialite says she cancelled her appearance as she wasn’t happy about some of the jokes she was scripted to make about the nominees, as some are her friends.
"It is my understanding that some satirical references ridiculed some of her peers," her publicist said.
"Paris did not want to say anything that could appear hurtful or embarrassing about people she knows.”
It’s not been revealed who’ll replace Hilton at the Las Vegas ceremony.
