Pop star Michael Jackson is preparing for a return to showbiz with a series of comeback gigs in Las Vegas.
The Thriller star is in talks with Vegas concert promoters in a bid to relaunch his career and end his exile from the US. Vegas entertainer Jeff Beacher confirmed to Us Weekly that Jacko was in town: "He wants to make his comeback here. Jackson wants this to be his new Neverland."
Promoter Jack Wishna says of Jackson, "We are working on several projects. He is one of the greatest entertainers in the world and is poised to return to the top."
Canadian star Celine Dion signed a $100 million (£51 million) 600-concert contract over three years with promoters in Las Vegas in 2002 so it's likely Jackson is wanting a similar big deal.
