Steve Irwin’s eight-year-old says she won’t cry over his tragic death, because she doesn’t want upset him.
Bindi Irwin says she’s trying to be brave as that’s what her Crocodile Hunter dad always taught her.
"Sometimes I cry and cry. But then I just think, 'It's happened. And you can't do anything about it.' He's not hurt and he's in a great place,” she says.
"He hated it when I cried. So I'm trying really hard not to make him really sad that I'm sad."
She adds: "He would be so happy that I'm happy. When I look back at all the memories that's what daddy wanted most for me. Some people might think, 'My word, she's happy, how can that be?' But I think everyone has a choice to be happy or sad."
