mary j blige photo Mary J Blige has urged the media and fans to give Britney a break after going off the rails following her dramatic split from husband Kevin Federline, saying she’s only human.

“I know that at some point in our lives we’ve had a situation like Britney’s, meaning that we all were with someone we thought loved us and actually didn’t,” Mary says.

“We make mistakes. I am looking at Britney as a human being just like myself. I messed up big time in my life."

angelina jolie photo Angelina Jolie has spoken out publicly about her relationship with Brad Pitt, saying although she fell in love with the actor while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston, nothing happened between them until his marriage ended.

Brad and Angelina were first said to have gotten close during the filming of their movie Mr and Mrs Smith, but Jolie insists they were just pals at the time, although they did form a very close friendship.

"We ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we found this strange, friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened," she said.

George Clooney pic George Clooney says he's camera-shy -- around cell phones that is. The actor claims to be paranoid that new technology could jeopardize his career because he can no longer hide from prying lenses and every wrong move he makes can recorded.

He is quoted by Scotland's Daily Record newspaper as saying: "You know, everybody's got a camera on their phone now so, all the time, any mistake that anybody makes, you're going to have it on film. And boy, there have already been some dumb mistakes."

Nicole Richie pic Nicole Richie could be on her way to jail if she's found guilty of driving under the influence following her arrest on Monday because she already has a previous DUI conviction. California law states that a repeat offence carries the mandatory sentence of five consecutive days in county jail.

The socialite admitted to highway patrol officers she had taken Vicodin and smoked pot before driving the wrong way on a freeway, and that confession could put her behind bars.

paris hilton photo Paris Hilton's recent MySpace post lashing out at criticism that her new best friend Britney Spears is a bad mother was a fake, the socialite’s rep has confirmed.

“Paris did not write it. She does not have a MySpace account,” Elliot Mintz told website ‘TMZ’.

The fake post saw ‘Paris’ speaking out in the pop tart’s defence, saying just because she parties a lot, it doesn’t mean she’s a bad mom.
