Tom Cruise has taken on a management role at Hollywood studio United Artists, after inking a dead with its owner, MGM.
The ‘Mission: Impossible’ actor will produce at least four movies a year as part of the deal. He will also take a stake in the company.
The move comes three months after Cruise parted ways with Paramount Pictures after working with them for 14 years.
Paramount has described Cruise’s recent behaviour as "unacceptable".
Tom’s controversial views on anti-depressants, as well as his high-profile relationship to actress Katie Holmes, are believed to have played a part in the fall out.
Cruise’s business partner, Paula Wagner, has also left Paramount to join United Artists as its chief executive officer.
