Snoop Dogg was arrested last night for the third time in three months. Detectives served Snoop a search warrant right after he appeared on "The Tonight Show". According to reports, as soon as his car pulled out of the NBC parking lot, cops pulled him over. After searching the car, police found cocaine, lots of marijuana and a handgun.
Officials say the warrant was part of an ongoing investigation into Snoop's arrest earlier this month at the airport in Burbank where he was stopped after trying to board a plane with a gun in his carry-on bag.
Snoop, real name Calvin Broadus, was arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possessing cocaine, transporting marijuana and having a false compartment in his vehicle.
"Information developed during this investigation confirmed that Mr. Broadus is both a convicted felon and an admitted 'Rolling 20's Crips' criminal street gang member who continues to associate with other 'Crips' criminal street gang members," said a police spokesman.
