Shar Jackson, Kevin Federline ex, has stuck up for the aspiring rapper following the news he’s being divorced by Britney Spears.
The former 'Moesha' actress, who is the mother of two of K-Fed’s children, says the media should stop dissing Kevin.
"He's such a nice guy," the 30-year-old says. "He's made some mistakes but everybody else doesn't have the whole world pointing their finger at their mistakes."
Shar and Kevin have a 4-year-old girl, Kori, and a 2-year-old boy, Kaleb. He dumped Shar while she was pregnant to hook up with Britney.
Jackson says while Federline doesn’t pay child support to her, “does pay for their school, and they go to a very expensive private school".
Spears filed for divorce on Tuesday and is seeking custody of their two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Federline counter-filed court papers the following day requesting sole custody and spousal support.
Shar says of the media coverage of the couple’s divorce, and celebrity divorces in general: "I don't understand why people take so much joy in other people's pain."
